Take a Walk with Big Tex, Part 3
Well, well. I noticed you spent a lot of time with that guy making caricactures. Hope ypurs turned out well. is that it in your hand. Well, cmon, let me see it. Not bad, it actually looks more like you then mine does!

Lets walk down this path a little bit and look up. If you look up you can see part of downtown Chicago. The large building in the background is not atually the Sears Tower, it is the Hancock Tower. Many people(including me) mistook it for the Sears Tower as it bears a bit of a resemblance. The Sears Tower is actually further in Downtown near Clark Street. The Hancock Building is on Michigan Avenue which is just off Lake Shore Drive, as you can see.

If you move your gaze east (thats left), you will see the Lake Michigan as it nears Downtown Chicago. As you can see there are a lot of people sitting on the shore line enjoying the day. Some people are having a picnic while others are playing frisbee. Actually there is a pretty nice bike trail from the North end of Lake Shore to the South that you can do if you feel up to it. It is a great ride but a bit long(over 20+ miles) so plan ahead if you choose to do it.

If you look even further east(left again) you will see the world famous Navy pier Area. This is a part of Chicago which a lot of people come to for fun. There is a full size Ferris Wheel, lots of little shops, and other fun things to do. There are little restauraunts as well which can offer great views of Lake Michigan while you dine on good food. This is a place that many native Chicagoians consider an institution and a must if you visit.

Lets start heading back to my apartment. As we walk back up LSD, we can reminense and think back upon the great day we have had. We have had a chance to explore just a small section of chicago. There is so much more to see, but i will not be able to take you there, you will have to go for yourselves! Oh, and by the way, if you were ever wondering whatever happned to the brave crew of the 7 Castaways lost on a deserted island...
